We are a thirty-something American couple originally from Washington State and currently based in the New York City area.
In April 2017, we embarked on a year long work sabbatical in order to travel. Prior to that, for the past seven years, we lived in Manhattan where Travis worked as a commercial litigation attorney and Nicole as a C.P.A. and consultant with a Big Four accounting firm.
During our travels, we visited nine countries and made countless memories. For additional background regarding our sabbatical trip, check out this blog post. A year later, our lives went full circle and we returned to the New York City area to live and work.
Over time, this website has evolved to focus primarily on some of our favorite things -- travel, books, and wine. Travis does most of the writing and Nicole provides most of the photography and recommendations. We both love sharing these interests.
