Climbing The Dunes At White Sands National Park
My favorite lifestyle guru, Tim Ferriss, often asks his podcast guests to name their favorite recent purchase of less than $100.
A few weeks ago, Nicole and I purchased a National Parks annual pass. It cost us $80. If Tim Ferriss calls me up asking for an interview, that is going to be my answer.
Last week, we visited Petrified Forest National Park. Stunning.
This week, we drove through White Sands National Park in southern New Mexico. Wow. Our reaction was the same.
We had no idea sand dunes could be so captivating. Covered in vegetation near the park entrance and then pure white sand as we drove further into the park.
We walked around in flip flops. Like being at a beach without water. Absolutely beautiful nature.
A place we won't soon forget.
