Cape Town is a city with something for everyone. Outdoor activities galore, fabulous food, picturesque coastlines, rich in history, Cape Town has so much to offer. Nicole visited with some girlfriends.
The V&A waterfront is a nice place for a stroll among shops and restaurants along the water. Nicole especially enjoyed the Waterfront Market that contained all sorts of little shops and eateries. Her favorite stalls included Truth Coffee (great for a cortado) and Stokkiesdraai Biltong (buy extra jerky because you will eat it all!).
Great coffee, cozy space and right across the street from Downward Dog Yoga (in case you get the hankering for a yoga class and coffee).
Perhaps an obvious pick, but Nicole really enjoyed hiking Table Mountain. Her and her girlfriends chose the Platteklip Gorge for the way up (approx. 2 hours depending on how quickly you climb) and then took the cable car on the way down. Make sure you pick a clear day so you can see the beautiful views from the top (and so that the cable car is running if you plan to take it back down).
