We liked, but did not love, our stay in the city closest to Machu Picchu. We enjoyed the city's walkability and traditional South American flare, but found the aggressive, non-stop street hawkers to be a turn off.

Head to Jack's! A straightforward, cash only Cusco institution serving up generous helpings of delicious meals. We went a few times and were never dissappointed.
