Chiroubles is a wine appellation (and town) within France's Beaujolais wine region. As a fan of Beaujolais wines, I'm biased, but this makes a great day trip for anyone visiting Burgundy and provides a nice contrast to Burgundy's more famed and well-manicured vineyards.
A great wine tasting experience. The owner/winemaker who led our tasting clearly cares deeply about both Beaujolais and the wines he produces.
